Solar-Motion Solar Carkit : Warranty Information

Free2Talk's products have been manufactured to the highest possible standards, however in the case of a product having a hardware failure, Free2Talk support their products with a 7 day* turn around warranty which is active for 12 months from the date of purchase. We have created a simple process which allows for either the end user or POP (Place Of Purchase) to deal directly with our support staff to ensure the fastest possible response time.

The steps outlined below will ensure the fastest possible turn around for all warranty claims:

1. The end customer logs on to http://www.free2talk.com.au and checks our frequently asked questions segment to make sure that the answer to their issue is not listed there.

2. If they cannot find the answer they were after, the customer can use the support forum link on our website and fill out some simple contact details. Someone from our support team will contact them back by phone or email, usually happen with 24 hours. If they do not have access to the web they can leave their details with us by calling 1300 365 047.

3. If we deem that the issue is connection based we will attempt to guide them through the process to get their Free2Talk product operating with their handset.

4. If we deem that the product is fault in some way, we will email an RA (Returns Authorisation) form which will need to be filled out and sent back to us with proof of purchase (Receipt / Card Statement etc). The faster this is done, the faster we can action the product return.

5. We will then issue a Reply Paid Australia Post number. You will need to pack the unit carefully (only the faulty part) and dispatch it to the address as given on the RA form.

6. Once we receive the unit, we will assess the aforementioned fault. In the case of the product being deemed faulty, we will dispense a replacement within 24 hours**. If the unit is found not to be faulty or to have suffered some form of physical damage it will be returned at the customer's own cost and in this instance, someone will be in contact with them to explain what the fault is and why it has not been covered by warranty.

Physical Damage Clause

Physical damage is damage that has occured to the product as a result of an accident or neglect. It would include, but not limited to, things like liquid ingress (Water Damage), cracked casings or malfunctioning products where there are visible signs that a product has been dropped. If the product has been dropped / crushed and has a score mark on it resulting in it no longer working then chances are that the damage has occured as a result of the incident. This product would no longer be covered by warranty.

Liquid Ingress

If the product was to come into contact with liquid of any type, the result will be a slow calcification of the circuits followed by intermittent failures. This may happen almost immediately or it may not start to show for many months. Ultimately this product is not designed to come into contact with fluid of any type and any such contact will void the warranty.
